Signature picture ("sigpic" for short)

When making your own sigpic, please remember:

1) make it no bigger than 500 x 150 pixels. This will ensure all the visitors have a good view of our forums. It makes the topics easier on the eyes and the content of the board is not overcrowded with the graphics we use.

2) preferably use a .jpg file instead of an animated .gif file. Of course we do not mind if you use a small "blinkie" as your sigpic but imagine everyone having big glitter graphics for the signature. Remember that "more than enough is too much".

To add your sigpic to your Yuku account:

1) create a graphic you want to use. If you don't know how to make one, you can always post in the Party Room asking for help. There are many Chayanne fans who are very talented and can help you with your request. But remember that very often real life interferes with the "fun-Chayanne-online-life" and it is possible that people simply do not have the time to help you - do not get offended if they tell you this or if noone replies. If there's noone out there to help you, this might be a reason good enough to start learning a new skill - there might be a brilliant graphics designer within you but you simply haven't had a chance to find him/her yet. Or you can wait patiently and ask again later, maybe someone will find the time to help you at a later date.

2) log in to your Yuku account

3) in left top corner of the page you will see your user name displayed and then "Account" - click it to open your Account Settings panel

4) find "Edit Signatures" - click it

5) click "Add Signature"

6) fill in the needed information:

  a) add a title: e.g. Chayanne beach signature

  b) signature body:
      - if you already have your sigpic stored anywhere on the web, click       "add from URL" and type the exact URL of your sigpic - if you do not       have your sigpic stored, don't worry - you can upload it to your Yuku       gallery: click "create album"; enter necessary info (e.g. name the       album "my signatures"); click the icon of your new album; click       "upload"; browse your computer for the sigpic you want to use; click       "done"; click on the uploaded graphic and it will appear in the       'signature body'

  c) text signature: delete the phrase "Your Text Signature ..." because we       DO allow signatures on our board

  d) click "Submit" button to save the changes

7) you will be taken back to your Signatures Account Settings panel; you should be able to see your newly created sigpic listed there

8) choose your new "Chayanne beach signature" as your default signature and "Save"

DONE!

Avatar - the little pic that shows up both on your profile and also to the left of your posts on the board.

To edit your avatar:

1) log in to your Yuku account

2) find "view and edit profile" - click it

3) find where your User Name is and click the small "edit" close to it

4) fill in the info you want to share:
- avatar: the picture you want to display (remember that the default size of avatars is 100 x 100 pixels and any bigger graphics will be resized
- so if you create your own avatar, why not already make it 100x100 px?)
- name
- birthday
- gender
- location
(you can set the viewing permissions to "no one" if you do not want to share the information)
- click the "Save" button

DONE!

Custom Title - any name or graphic that is displayed near your profile avatar.
